Yaser Al Ghena claims WBO European super-lightweight title at York Hall

Evolve fighter Yaser 'Yasii Boy' Al Ghena added the WBO European super-lightweight title to his growing collection at York Hall, Bethnal Green on 30 November 2025 - winning a hard-fought 10-round battle against unbeaten Birmingham man Mykey Lee Broughton on a unanimous decision and staying perfect at 15-0.

Broughton came out fast and made it a real fight early. Yaser stayed composed, found his range in the middle rounds, and came on strong in the championship rounds - finishing with a decisive tenth that left all three judges in no doubt. Final scores: 96-94 across the board.

The win - a Top Tier Boxing 'RESURGENCE' show broadcast live on DAZN - added the WBO European belt and the BBBofC English title to Yaser's resume, taking him to 15 wins from 15 pro fights and confirming his place among the best British super-lightweights in the division.
